Early life

Stein was born to bail bondsman Rhett Stein and Kelly Stein. Dallas, Texas, is where Stein was raised. Despite being Jewish, he revealed to the Jewish Journal that he was not given a bar mitzvah or any other enjoyable Jewish experiences when he was younger. Conspiracy theories appealed to Stein because he was “obsessed with spy stuff” as a child.

Stein participated in The Glass House in 2012, claiming to have “no shame” and asking viewers if they thought he should become the most epic villain in reality TV history. Stein was the first person eliminated from the show. He joined Bobby Flay’s crew for Season 4 of Worst Cooks in America in 2013.
